WESTERVILLE – Police recently responded to a report of arrows sticking in the ground near a Westerville couple’s home.

Police were sent to a home on East Park Street on May 30 after a woman said she found an arrow sticking out of the ground near her home, according to a police report. The arrow was near a garden to the side of the house.

The woman said her husband found another arrow a week before. She told police she was concerned because she has pets and her grandchildren often come over to play.

Police determined the arrows were a common target arrow that could have been purchased at any sporting goods store. Officers asked the woman to check with her neighbors to see if any other arrows were found.

Police have no suspects and took no further action.
