WESTERVILLE – A large portion of Westerville was without power Tuesday afternoon.
The power outage happened shortly before 2 p.m.
As of 3 p.m., the city said around 1,600 customers remained without power. By 3:24 p.m., all customers were restored.
The city is under a peak warning alert between 3pm and 6pm, with temperatures expected to go above 90 degrees.
One of Westerville’s substations lost source power, which led to the outage, according to the city.
