A recent police chase took Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers through Polaris-area neighborhoods bordering on Westerville.

It started early in the morning on March 21 when troopers tried to stop a vehicle near Polaris Pkwy. and Gemini Place. After initially stopping, the driver took off.

Dash camera video shows the driver led police on a chase that went through neighborhoods, down Park Road, south on U.S. 23, east on I-270, north on I-71, back on Polaris Parkway, Worthington Road, Worthington Galena Road, and Park Road once again.

The suspect bailed out of the vehicle and was arrested hiding behind a home on Charmel Pl. Donay E. Johnson, 21, was indicted on charges of failure to comply with a signal or order of police, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence. He is being held on a $100k bond.
